We receive very funny emails from the USA about BillyBoy* Bleuette "Bible". Here is a couple of them "Forgot to mention, I'm supposed to be doing some strength training exercises as part of my weight watchers program, so maybe lifting that big Billy Boy book will count?? " (Annick") or "I'm jumping into this discussion late, but wanted to let you know that I always refer to this book as the Gutenberg Bible of Bleuette...it's that massive. I would think that lifting this tome could be a great workout and you might end up with fabulous arm definition...think Angela Basset in the role of Tina Turner!" (Juli)

Meet "MILY", the thrilling French Fashion doll created by Gégé in the 60s and early 70s.

BillyBoy*

The exhibition named "INSEX" features 25 women portraits by BillyBoy*.

This serie of intense and vivid artworks in pastels and crayons reveals BillyBoy*s latest pictural work. They were exhibited in Tokyo in 2002.

Also featured here an exclusive INTERVIEW by BillyBoy*, who talks freely about his work, contemporary art, fashion and his experience of collecting high fashion and dolls.

Fondation Tanagra

This exhibition features an updated excerpt from the text written by BillyBoy* for the catalogue accompanying the “Hommage à Schiaparelli” exhibition held in 1984 in the Pavillon des Arts in Paris, France.

This exhibition was sponsored by the City of Paris, with the participation of the Union Francaise des Arts et du Costume (U.F.A.C) and the Palais Galliéra. Some of the photos in this exhibition have appeared in the original catalogue, others have never been shown publicly until now.

This exhibition will give the viewer an in-depth idea of the startling fashion innovations by Elsa Schiaparelli as explained by the world's leading expert on her career, BillyBoy*.

by BILLYBOY*

Based on an erotic cartoon character in post-war Germany, the Bild Lilli doll became an instant cult object whose image was to influence several generations of fashion dolls.

Her severe look and her high-heel shoes thinly disguised her as a fashion doll but what lay underneath was a social phenomena. A revolution for women was taking place during the era, and Bild Lilli was its doll-size anticipation with its irresistible expression of emancipation.

This very funny and witty text is an exclusivity from BillyBoy* for the Fondation Tanagra. Sense of humour required!

by BillyBoy*

These dreamy portraits in black and white feature Mdvanii and the other characters in her world were taken by BillyBoy* in 1992-1993 and shown in the FNAC photography galleries in Paris as well as the main cities of France from 1993 to 1996.

Text by Jean Pierre Lestrade

This second part is composed with recent articles written by BillyBoy* for the web. Thrilling new info! The PART 1 is still featured in GALLERIES/DOLLS
